Saturday Nov 16th was the date set to show our students progress to a variety of invited guests and to celebrate the fact that we have
been going now for nearly a year!.

Our guest list included: Mums and Dads, Educators from the  school, next year’s potential students, food suppliers and some of the
contractors who helped get this project off the ground nearly a year ago.

The team really rose to the occasion with not only fantastic food being prepared but also Kimberley and Marissa taking care of an opening “speech”  welcoming our guests to the event!
Its hard to believe that less than a year ago they were so apprehensive
of new ingredients and equipment!

Our students were to do as much of the organising; menu planning
etc as
possible and they rose to the challenge magnificently!
The food had to include as much local produce as possible, especially as meny of our suppliers were invited.

‘The trainees are to be congratulated for their smooth organisation and well prepared meal.
They demonstrated skills that will prove useful to them throughout their lives, even if they do not end up working in the catering/hospitality sector and should be proud of the progress they have made.’

“Great food & Service. It goes to show Saints can “ step up to the plate”. Best wishes to all, keep up with the great work”.
